Our cities were built do be destroyed, photobook, 120 pages, 24x19cm, soft cover; 2013-2019




„Our Cities were built to be destroyed” its a visual material I gathered mainly in Poland, Brazil, Germany, Ukraine and I published it in a form of photo-book. The project puts together elements that are important in my creative process.
Boundaries, monuments, histories of ideology written in stone are the core of narration of each city. Processes of reconstruction and their formes are also crucial observations. Some of the images are just registered encounters of objects, others are a documentation of interventions in the urban spaces or sketches for sculptures or objects.
Notes, images, interventions and graphic projects are suggesting a narration, commentary of life in our cities.
The book contains works gathered during last 5 years.
