„Poles of Europe” was an exhibition and an open workshop initiated in Dobro gallery in Olsztyn - Poland.
The show was combined of works created along with other people - friends from „Collective” group, guests that visited me in my house, flatmates, some of the works were created during parties, etc. - the main rule of every work was that it was always done as an effect of a meeting with the others and there was never one author of each work.
During the exhibition all visitors could also participate in creation of works.
Exhibition was censored by the rightwing politicians from the ruling party. All members where interrogated and accused of offending the religious and patriotic feelings (a paragraph of law functioning in Poland). Some of works were taken by the police as proofs, local students organized a strike against censorship.
The case is still ongoing.
