Portrait, object, wood, glass, 10PLN banknote, black ink, 12x8x5cm; 2012
Object consists of a black frame and 10 PLN banknote. Surface of the banknote was covered with black ink. Just the face of the first Polish king was left. The same king made a political decision to convert Poland to a Catholic religion . This decision connected Poland to the western culture. In it’s aestethic object refers to the traditional portrait painting.
